How much will my finished website cost?
During the consultation you will be given a quote which is an estimation of what the finished site will cost. However, the final cost may be higher or lower than the quote. The price for your site depends on what features you want and how long it takes to create the site. More complex sites require more complex programming which will mean more time which equals to more money.
How long will it take to make my website?
Depending on the features you want on your website, and what programming I will need to do to fulfill your site's needs, your website can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
What is a domain name?
A series of alphanumeric strings separated by periods, such as www.hmco.com, that is an address of a computer network connection and that identifies the owner of the address. This is what users type into their address bar to go to your website. I do not provide you with a domain name. Domain names may be purchased from many different sites for under $20 a year. I recommend Go Daddy for purchasing domain names. They are reliable and the cheapest around.
Will you be hosting my website?
I do not host any web sites at this time. Web space may be purchased from many different companies. I recommend Xito Creations for web hosting. It is who I use and I have never had a problem. They also give you alot for your money.
Will I be informed on how production is going on my website?
Once I begin building, you will be given a username and password that you can use to log into my site to stay informed on the production status of your website.
What if I want updates made to my site after it is completed?
I will continue to make updates to your site for you, at the regular rate of $35/hour.
